  • Because each text is different, it’s difficult to give one set price without seeing the content. However, good edits take investment. But if you have a limited budget, let me know, and we can work together to find a good solution.

  • Generally translators can proofread around 3000-4000 words per day, but this can be more or less depending on the content, document type, and more. Creative copy usually takes longer, but more straightforward copy can be pretty speedy. I’ll always provide an estimated turnaround time with my quote.

  • There’s a lot of debate about the difference between proofreading and editing in the translation industry, so it’s important that you let me know what you’re looking for when you get in touch. It can cover anything from checking a translation against the original English copy, checking only the Spanish translation for readability, only looking for typos, or anything in between.

  • That’s okay! I welcome feedback in all forms and want to make sure that I’m delivering the best quality I can. The more information you give me up front, the better my initial result will be, but if you’re still unhappy, I always build in one round of revisions included in my pricing. Please note, however, that if there are changes to the original text or revisions are overwhelmingly preferential, there may be an additional charge.
